YouTube channel AppleTrack recently released a video in which the video creator conducted a drop test on the iPhone 16 Pro in Australia and compared it with the iPhone 15 Pro.
As per the Youtuber:
On the iPhone 16 Pro, I feel like there’s a problem because the bezels are too thin.
As a result, the 16 Pro’s display panel becomes very fragile when hit by things like corner hits or other impacts that barely touch the edges of the screen, and significantly more fragile than the 15 Pro.
During additional testing, AppleTrack found that the damage to the iPhone 15 Pro was “not as severe overall” compared to the iPhone 16 Pro.
Another YouTube channel, TechRax, also tests the durability of the iPhone 16 Pro with a hammer and knife. The video is more about damaging the Apple iPhone, so don’t expect anything informative or details about the phone’s features. However, with this test, the user will definitely have an idea of how strong the iPhone 16 will be before actually buying it.
